The spread of coronavirus and all related measures also affect the preparation of Czech New Energies Rallye. With regard to the statements made by the responsible government officials, it is already certain that due to the restriction of public presence at mass events which should end in the Czech Republic not sooner than during June, it is not possible to organize the South Bohemian event between May 21 and 23.

Whether the 9th year of the event will be held this year or in the spring of next year will be decided depending on further development of the pandemic situation in Europe and free dates in the modified calendar of the SONAX Czech Rally Championship, which includes concurrently held the 48th Rallye Český Krumlov.
